Dr Mabi Behruznia is a Research Fellow in the University of Birmingham’s Institute of Microbiology and Infection.
Mabi is interested in using sequencing technology to characterise pathogenic bacteria and understand their evolutionary processes. Her research focus involves investigating pathogens and microbial communities within clinical samples using metagenomic sequencing.
