Dr Quraishi’s research interests include the microbiome in inflammation and the effect of Faecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) and antimicrobial treatment in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), in particular Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. He set up the IBD inception cohort at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust’s Heartlands site.
