Bio
Professor Paul Moss is the Interim Director of our BRC, taking over from Professor Phil Newsome in June 2024, as well as co-theme lead of the BRC Cancer Inflammation Theme. Paul is Deputy Head of the University of Birmingham’s College of Medical and Dental Sciences, where he is Professor of Haematology. Paul’s clinical expertise is in the management of chronic leukaemia. He runs an immunology research group with a focus on cancer, viral and transplantation immunology. Paul has held Chair roles within several UK research funding organisations and was previous Chief Investigator of the UK Coronavirus Immunology Consortium (UK-CIC).
