Dr Ilfita Sahbudin

llfita Sahbudin is an Associate Clinical Professor in Rheumatology at the University of Birmingham. She is also an Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and provides specialist early arthritis and ultrasound services at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Ilfita has been awarded the NIHR Development and Skills Enhancement (DSE) Fellowship in October 2024 to develop her research programme in AI rheumatology ultrasound. Her main research interest is developing novel imaging tools for patients with chronic inflammatory disease, with a particular interest in ultrasound imaging in early inflammatory arthritis.
